Mentoring children of incarcerated parents. We cannot solve every problem in our community, but we can help one child at a time. Seedling has matched over 600 students of parents in prison this school year with a caring role model, and there are still more children on our waiting list. Every one of us can point to someone who has believed in us and made us believe in ourselves. For most of us, that person was a parent. For a child with a parent serving a long-term prison sentence, one person showing up for them one lunchtime every week can and does make a difference!
